Baby Alive Learns to Potty Review

This doll is fun to play with, and my daughter had some interest with using the potty after playing with this doll, however it is too much work on the parent. You have to mix the babies food, then you have the dishes that comes with the doll to wash, or the food will stain the bowl and spoon. You have to keep on feeding the doll its bottle till the "pee" is clear that runs out of the doll, or the food will harden inside the doll, and may break the doll down to where it doesn't funtion properly anymore. The accessories such as the babies food, and diapers are sold seperate, which gets pricey like having a real baby! I guess that is why it is called baby alive! Also, when the doll makes a "stinky" you have to wipe her down with a wet cloth or the baby food that comes out from her bottom will leave a stain on her butt, or legs if it drips down. Feeding the doll is a mess too, so you have to constantly wash the dolls bib. Overall the doll is educational, and it does help a child want to go potty, but I suggest to parents to buy a potty training doll without the mess, especially if you have other things you could be doing with your precious time then to wash a dolls bowl and spoon, and bib, and feed its bottle for like 20 minutes till its insides are cleaned out from the doll food!

When this baby doll has to go, it's up to little moms (or dads) to help train her. After she eats and drinks from her bottle just like a real infant, she says when to put her on the potty. The more training Baby Alive gets, the less chance there is of an "accident." Hasbro. Ages: 3+

Little Mommy Gotta Go Doll Review

I was initially disappointed with the toy but things worked out for us in the end.
Cons: The shelves never stay on (we glued them) and the whole thing falls over easily (we kept the back drop of the box and rest it in there). The doll goes through its round of phrases, sometimes completely contradicting what my daughter is actually doing with her. The toilet almost never flushes to the clean image the first time, and often not even the second time (my daughter doesn't mind but it drives me crazy). Also, the doll only makes the sounds that she is going potty if you get her on the sit just right.
Pros: No mess. Play includes having the doll go pee and poop (important with our very resistant child). Any doll or toy can be put on the potty and it will trigger the switch so it looks like they went. The doll can be turned off for "free" play (though having her on when brushing her teeth is hilarious).
I gave it 4 stars because, well, it worked! The night it arrived my 2 1/2 year old, who usually screams if you try to change a dirty diaper let alone try to get her to poop on the potty, said "Gotta Go" and did. That was 8 days ago and she has been in underwear, with only two accidents, for the last 5 days. Previously she was willing to pee when we asked her to but wouldn't ask to go and absolutely would not poop on the potty. For her getting this doll seems to have been what she needed to take that final step.

Moms will love helping their daughter learn the all-important and exciting milestone of becoming potty trained with the "no water" and "no mess" Real Loving Baby Gotta Go Doll. Girls will love the realistic, nurturing play elements of the doll and its accessories, which include a complete bathroom area where girls can help their doll learn to go potty and clean up. Just like a real toddler, the Gotta Go Doll goes both "number 1" (and "number 2!") on her very own small potty, but, unlike real toddlers, there is no mess and no water - just realistic sights and sounds!. The doll can flush, knows to wash her hands and loves to do all the things a big girl does when she gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night. The bathroom area features potty, sink, towel and more.
