(More customer reviews)As a standalone toy, the Coastal Winds Airport is alright. Its neat that the tower offers multiple vehicle sounds. Its also interesting that the 'flying arm' is modular and appears to be ready to support additional planes and helicopters beyond the original.
The thing is, it doesn't really integrate with the rest of the Geotrax system. The road vehicles and the train vehicles can connect to one another and even drive on each other's tracks. The airport really doesn't have any way of connecting to the rest of the layout and just sort of 'sits next to' the rest of your Geotrax setup. So, as I said, its not a bad toy, it just doesn't have the WOW factor that many of the other Geotrax units do.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my boys (3 & 5) and they couldn't wait to get home and set it up. I had to put the batteries in and assemble the track (definitely to hard for my 3 year old). Once it was together we had to figure out how to incorporate it in with the rest of our track. I would totally recommend getting one or two of the "ramp" sets so that you can fully utilize both levels of the clock tower. The 4 songs that it can play are a definite plus.

(More customer reviews)My almost-3-year-old has been carrying Harold around with him everywhere he goes for a year now. Of all the Thomas items we own, this one is his very favorite. He loves to spin the blades, and I like that he can't break it.
This is the one piece (besides Thomas) that I feel I need to have an "extra" on hand in case it gets lost.
