My son got this for his first birthday - a year later he still plays with this EVERY day. It is his favorite toy by far. Yes, the dumper in the front occasionally comes off but it is easy to put back on.

New Star My First Power Racer Car in Blue Review

New Star My First Power Racer Car in Blue
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a nice little car, with a safe slow speed for very young children. Can change from forward to reverse with the flip of a switch, and can be steered right and left with the steering wheel. I bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday thinking that it may be a little advanced for her age. Not so! Within the hour she had learnt to drive the car, honk the horn, and press all the little sound butttons. The finer points of reverse and steering are still a little beyond her.
Pros:
- Great price for all the features it has
- Low to the ground, so not far to fall
- Safe yet fun speed. Its not too fast, but its powerful enough to ride smoothly on thick carpet, and will push any other toys in the way.
- Reverse is a must-have feature if you don't constantly want to be pulling your child out of corners.
- Honking horn on steering wheel is not too loud or harsh sounding. It isn't annoying like some others out there.
- Battery holds its charge well. Looks like durable construction.
Cons:
- We didn't realise that the accelerator is actually a foot pedal. (We thought it had a push button on the steering wheel - but no). As it turns out, our one year old figured it out within the hour so it hasn't been a problem. *However, it is dangerous while dismounting*. If the child tries to dismount on the right side, they can step on the pedal with all their weight causing the car to shoot forward, and we've had a couple of spills already. We are trying to teach her to mount and dismount from the other side only - not easy! If not for this big problem, I'd give this car 5 stars.
- The seat doesn't have a back support. Also you're sitting saddled across this - not "within" a car. True, the car doesn't go fast enough to have her jerk backwards, but it would be safer and more comfortable to be able to lean back.
- To re-charge, the screws have to be removed from the seat top. Not too much of a hassle though.
Overall we're glad we bought this. Its an affordable option and now that we are sure she enjoys the ride, we can invest in one with more bells and whistles as she gets older.

Radio Flyer Blaze Interactive Riding Horse Review

Radio Flyer Blaze Interactive Riding Horse
Average Reviews:

We bought the Radio Flyer Blaze riding horse for our active 2 yr old grandson. He loves it! All parts are heavy gauge steel or thick molded plastic. Springs are heavy but easily worked. Spring covers are heavy fabric and plenty long. Overall very good quality materials and construction, very sturdy. Easier to assemble with two people. Two volume levels for sounds, plus OFF.
Our grandson is athletic but on the short side, yet he easily climbs aboard in various ways, even using the stirrups occasionally. He has a blast with it, and gets a kick out of "feeding" it the carrot (sensor in mouth triggers crunching/chewing sounds). I think the smooth plastic is more practical than the fabric covering on other brands/models.
This is a classic riding horse, fairly simple, clean design and nothing to pinch or hurt a kid that likes to crawl all over and around, besides lots of vigorous riding.

We bought this for my son when he was only 21 months old..he was too short to reach the peddles at the time, but loved pushing it around with his feet. This is a very sturdy, indestructable product. He never tipped it over, and he's ROUGH! Also, he loved that the seat flipped up, and he could put his favorite things under the seat! :-) Great product, great price!

PlasmaCar Review

Great toy---almost magical---in ideal conditions. My daughter loved, I mean LOVED it inside on our ceramic tile floor. Our almost smooth driveway was also some fun. Our asphalt culdesac and quiet street were a disaster. She was VERY disappointed that the thing barely moved on the street. The closer you can get to glass to ride this thing on the better. But even our slightly "pebbly rough" street is way too much for it. You would easily have thought it would have been fine! If I knew this ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have bought it. We will have to drive somewhere just to use it outside other than our short steeper driveway. Consider where you have a VERY smooth surface, an area recently paved or recoated at least, before you buy. When it works (5+ stars)---it's great, when it doesn't it's just a big dissappointment (0- stars).

PlasmaCar is made from state-of-the-art, high-quality ABS plastics, rugged and durable. Kids will like its looks because it´s vivid, sleek and aerodynamic, just like a racecar. No batteries, no power-cells, no liquid fuel are required. It's deceptively simple too, both to look at and to operate. It sports six wheels, a seat, footrests, and a steering wheel. That's it. There are no pedals. No gears. And best of all-batteries are not required. To propel the PlasmaCar, you rotate the steering wheel continuously from left to right. It also works in reverse. To zoom backwards, just switch the set of four front wheels around so that the larger ones are closest to the front of the car. To stop your PlasmaCar, just cease rotating the steering wheel and, when the car slows, put your feet on the ground to bring it to a full stop-easy as pie. Think of it as a Segway for kids. The PlasmaCar can go an exhilarating but kid-safe 2.8 meters per second; that's over 10 km/h. Kids feel the need for speed-and this toy will give them exactly what they need!
