(More customer reviews)I bought this toy for my son for his sixth birthday. He loves it but for the money it costs I was a little disappointed. It is not very fast, thank goodness it came with training wheels because I don't know how a kid would be able to ride it without, it just doesn't go fast enough. He has had it for a little over a week and the stickers are already peeling off. If he didn't love it so much I would send it back. It cost too much to just be ok.

(More customer reviews)Overall this is a nice scooter. Ships assembled, you just have to flip the handle up. That is a nice feature for storage and transportation that you can fold it down. It's easy for my 4 yr old to balance. He loves the bell on the handle. The turning radius is very wide, wish it were a little tighter, but I suppose that is the trade off for the front wheels that balance better. The handle is on the high side, which is great for my tall boy, but maybe not for all kids.

(More customer reviews)Great toy---almost magical---in ideal conditions. My daughter loved, I mean LOVED it inside on our ceramic tile floor. Our almost smooth driveway was also some fun. Our asphalt culdesac and quiet street were a disaster. She was VERY disappointed that the thing barely moved on the street. The closer you can get to glass to ride this thing on the better. But even our slightly "pebbly rough" street is way too much for it. You would easily have thought it would have been fine! If I knew this ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have bought it. We will have to drive somewhere just to use it outside other than our short steeper driveway. Consider where you have a VERY smooth surface, an area recently paved or recoated at least, before you buy. When it works (5+ stars)---it's great, when it doesn't it's just a big dissappointment (0- stars).

(More customer reviews)This is a life saver in my house! I have three children that vary in age from 1 to 10 years old. All love this car! Now, the one year old is not quite ready to ride on his own yet, but he is very happy to have his big sister (3 1/2) to drive him around. She rides her purple Plasma car every day for long periods of time. It is totally kid powered and easy to drive. It takes a moment to get used to how the wheel must move back and forth to start the friction, but kids seem to catch on very well. The cars are very sturdy and big enough for my 10 year old son to ride as well. They can hold up to 200 pounds on a smooth surface and 110 pounds on a rough surface. The cars can be used indoors or outdoors. We own two, and my daughter and oldest son like to race down the driveway together. The cars also turn on a dime! They can maneuver very well getting around our tables and other furniture. It's a great toy to get your kids active and away from the TV all the time. I love the fact that no batteries are involved, yet it virtually moves on its own without peddling. Of course, the children can also use their feet if they want to go very fast. But the good thing is that there are foot rests for their feet while they drive,and it is very safe to ride, considering it is almost like sitting on the ground basically, for it is only a few inches off the floor. I am glad that there is a car that can be used for many years for lots of growing age groups. It is a bit expensive, but compared to how much use it will get verses the younger toddler cars that you have for only 1-3 years, I find it invaluable. I have even ridden it. It is fun! I can see using these cars for at least 10-12 years or more! The seat is set far enough back, that the older children can sit towards the back for more room, and the younger ones towards the front. It's a hit with all the neighborhood children that come play. That is the real test! They all want one of their own after riding. It's hard to get them to go home! Plasma cars will probably be used more than their bicycles, which the children constantly keep outgrowing. I found a hit in our household! I highly recommend them!

(More customer reviews)My husband chose this one after our son kept begging him for a scooter. He loves this scooter. The wider wheels make it easy for him to use. We often walk the dog and he'll use his scooter on the sidewalk. Love the red color too. I would recommend this to anyone with a preschooler. Plus it goes up to age 8 and 80 lbs, I think. The next one down only went to 50 lbs and our son is already 40 lbs., so we wanted something that would last a few years. I only gave it 3 stars for educational value because I didn't buy it for that. 5 Stars for fun! Buy it, you won't regret it.

(More customer reviews)My husband bought this scooter for my daughter who will soon be two after seeing how much she wanted to ride the neighbor kids' razors. My daughter jumped up and down with joy after seeing the toy. As soon as she got on she knew what to do. This toy is so SAFE, in comparison to any other competition! The base for the foot is almost a foot wide. Also the two wheels in front help balance our child more so than the two wheel in back ones. It is also fun for her to sit down on the center portion and us to pull her around on it. It is made out of the same plastic material as the RadioFLyer wagons, so it is really durable. It did not break when I stood on it and I weigh 140. I am pretty sure it is not cleared for that heavy of a person..but I had to try it. Overall GREAT toy! Safer than a Trike too, since she is not having to climb over the middle section..she just steps off.

(More customer reviews)So . . . not sure why my first review of this was not posted. When I recieved the item, it came in a box that had clearly been previously opened. Given that my invoice from amazon was inside the box, it's a given that amazon opened the box. How, upon opening it, they did not realize that the scooter was broken into numerous pieces is beyond me - and why they chose to ship a broken item is another story. This was especially disappointing because the scooter was going to be a birthday gift and we didn't have time to order a replacement and have it arrive in time.
I would give the product a 5 if it wasn't broken - however, the lower rating is due to this company knowingly selling a broken item. We ended up buying the same scooter elsewhere. Our niece loves it . . . and it arrived in tact.
