She's 2 years old, and it's the first toy she runs to when she gets home from school. The battery longevity is better than I expected. It lasts every bit of an entire evening with her driving as well as friends kids that come over and play with it too. It's slow enough that anyone could walk beside it while a child operates it, and fast enough that it isn't boring to the kids (as long as it's on pavement, in the grass it goes pretty slow). Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Hope that helps.
