Like M. Barton, I built this kit long ago, and was glad to get it again.
It is built of light plastic--light in color and weight--and the pieces go together well.
The light gray takes paint well, and the flexibility of the plastic makes for easy building and modification.
There was one strange problem (which I didn't remember from before). The main wheels are each made in two halves. But the halves BOTH have male flanges. In other words, instead of one fitting into the other, both have raised buttons and so you have to saw the protrusions down flat. This is a bother, but easy to do.
Three sets of decals. Very nice.

Detailed 1/72 scale assembly model kit of the Douglas A-20/DB-7, a World War II era twin-engine light-bomber/night-fighter. Developed by the Douglas Aircraft Company and introduced in 1941, the A-20 served with several Allied air forces, including the air forces of the United States, Great Britain, Soviet Union, Australia, South Africa, France, and The Netherlands. The designation DB-7 was used by air forces of Australia, South Africa, France, and The Netherlands. Although the A-20 had neither the speed of a true fighter aircraft nor the range of a bomber, the type was a favorite of many pilots who flew it because of its rugged dependability and excellent maneuverability. A-20 bomber variants ("Boston") and night-fighter variants ("Havoc") were produced and used by Allied air forces throughout the war. This Airfix 1/72 scale assembly kit features the Douglas DB-7B / Boston III variant, the first batch of the series to actually be ordered by Britain, in February 1940. This kit comes with 65 parts.

Chuggington DC, Brewster Engine Review

I just bought this train this morning for my son. It's awesome...both my kids have been wanting to get chugginton but I was reluctant to buy another train set. I was so surprised to see a wooden version of this train in the bookstore, I bought one and the lady standing next to me also bought one. My kids haven't stopped playing with it. I have the Thomas beginners wooden set, Thomas travel sets, the Dinosaur train plastic set, the learning curve wooden table set and the geotrax portable zoo. So its always a bonus when I don't have to buy another entire set when my sons fancy a new train. I really appreciate the manufactures making the compatible with the other wooden sets.
It's durable, the colour is brillant and there are no sharp pointy edges. It is slightly larger than Thomas but the wheel base fits the wooden tracks perfectly. It also has the magnetic connectors that connects the freight cars which works well with Thomas and the other trains.
Kudos to you Learning Curve!
Sincerely,
A mother of two boys (2 and 3 years old)!

I'm a big fan of Learning Curve, and I was happy to find out that the Chuggington train series is compatible with the Take Along tracks & station sets (which have been renamed as Take N Play) because I did not want more train tracks in the house, but my son loves Chuggington as much as Thomas & friends, so I decided to use the new trains as part of a reward system.
Unfortunately, these trains are not magnetic like the Thomas trains, but connect with little plastic fittings; I do not recommend getting these trains for kids who are still putting things in their mouths. Other than the way they connect to one another, they are built exactly like the Thomas Take Along trains -- same size, metal & paint.
I also recommend getting the Chuggington Die-Cast Wilson Carry Case, which has 17 slots.
