(More customer reviews)This is my 2 year old's absolute favorite thing at the moment. We have had it about a month and he takes it in the car, all around the house, and to bed every night. If I dare put it away, he asks for it first thing in the morning. He flips through the book occasionally, but it is the figurines and playmat that he really adores. The figures are cute, but not functional (wheels don't spin, etc.). My son doesn't care, but he WAS disappointed when Harold's helipcopter blades snapped off the 1st day. For some reason the blades have a little give to them that makes a kid think they should be able to spin, so he twisted them right off! The playmat is pretty durable though. It gets left on the floor quite a bit and is still in good shape after being tromped on and dragged about.
Also, I did NOT pay $40 for this. I think it was $13 at the big chain toy store. WELL worth it for so many figures! If you have a kid who adores Thomas, then he/she will LOVE this product.
