I had doubts about it holding his interest since he loves to play with all of his "bigger" toys, but he can sit and play with this zoo for 30 minutes, just sitting and hitting the buttons to make the path spin and music play. He smiles as big as possible each and every time.
My son has also used it to help stand up many times, and has not had the problems someone else has posted about with his son being injured on it. As another poster stated, accidents can happen with any toy, and knowing that my son likes to use this toy to stand up, I am usually very close nearby as he plays with it.
I also love the music it plays. The songs are cute and talk about all of the animals at the zoo. Volume control is always a nice feature on toys with repetitive music. I like that the animals are on wheels so that he can play with the animals without the rest of the toy, especially as he gets older.
