(More customer reviews)This is the most bizarre toy loader I have ever seen and tried to use (I am a 38 yr old parent to a 2 yr old). Not only is the body shorter than it is tall, thus making it difficult to move across terrain (like that commonly found in a sandbox), but the scoop - if you can call it that - doesn't function AT ALL and appears to logically upside down.
To pick up even a modicum of sand you must hold the scoop tilted back with one hand while pushing with the other, otherwise the scoop tilts forward and dumps out all the sand; then you must pull back on the handle while simultaneously holding down the flimsy plastic body. This will get you about 1/4 cup of sand...and is pretty difficult for a 2 yr old to maneuver, to boot.
I just can't fathom how this thing made it to production. Don't they test these on actual children?
It's cheap, that's for sure. But it is not worth even one penny.
