(More customer reviews)This is a 1/43rd scale model of the Prof's Time Machine DeLorean as shown in the movie after being converted to railroad wheels. It has "Mr Fusion" on the back deck along with the appropriate detail changes that that entails.
The wheels are spoked railroad wheels, but are not all the same size! The fronts are smaller than the rears - easier to manufacture, but not accurate. They should also be a more rust brown rather than gold. The doors open, and most of the interior detail is there in either decal or painted form (it is missing the wind up alarm clock, but so do most models of the car).
Another major "nitpick" - the car is missing the frame under the front where the Prof tried to use the horses.
The simulated stainless steel body is great, but some of the assembly and the hand painted detail could use more care. This model had a couple of minor details either mist cast or broken off.
The model is not gauged for "O" Scale track, not a problem if you just want it as a collectable, but if you're like me and want to park it on a layout it means some work to narrow the gauge of the wheels.
Overall a fairly deceint model for the price.
