(More customer reviews)This is a good quality set. It is easy to assemble and get started, and the pieces, especially the locomotive, feel durable. I only have two "beefs" with it. First, with just the oval track, it gets boring quite quickly, just watching go round and round. It would have been nice if the starter set included some scenery accessories, alternative track configurations, etc. to "liven it up." Second, the directions are pretty vague and not comprehensive. Good luck trying to figure out how to dump out the coal from the coal box. Even though they talk about it, the description refers to buttons out of the blue without context so you can't figure out what they are saying.
It's a solid buy, but you'll need to quickly follow up with more track and accessories to keep you kids interested.
