(More customer reviews)I am really disappointed. I just spent $[...] on shipping this item, to discover that it does not come with the engine needed to make the lights and sounds. No where does it say that a specific engine is needed to make the lights and sounds. Very disappointing.

Connect the smart track station to brio original tracks, then start your track reader engine! When the engine reaches the built-in smart track it brakes and comes to a stop. Your child then hears the sounds of a busy railway station. At the sound of a train door closing the track reader engine starts up again and sets off from the interactive railway station.
