PlanToys Block Puzzle Review

I know it looks kind of lackluster, but my 5 year old LOVES this puzzle. The first time he pulled it out, he spent over 30 minutes on the basic puzzle. The instruciton book demonstrates ways to set the puzzle up to make it more challenging. My 5yo continues to enjoy spending 15-30 minutes blocks of times putting these shapes together. It is enjoyable for me to watch him figure out how the pieces fit together. On the downside, we have to make sure we pack the puzzle up back in the box with all the pieces so none of the pieces get lost. I highly recommend this puzzle!

Thomas and Friends Domino Game Review

This is a classic domino game using Thomas characters. Would be better with fewer characters. Pieces are large and require a large table or floor...coffee table not big enough. Hard for young children to understand what placement options are ok and which matching placements are not allowed.

My son received this game as a gift when he was 4 years old. We instantly fell in love. It is a great game for young kids and reinforces number, color and matching skills. I am surprised at how often we bring it out. Yesterday when we played, my son was pleased to use some of his newly learned math skills to add up our scores(he is almost 6) My three year daughter also just loves to play with the dominoe magnets. She enjoys matching them in various ways. It continues to prove itself to be a multilevel/multiskill game.

Chickenfoot To Go, Number Dominoes Review

Chickenfoot To Go, Number Dominoes

OK, I'm not sure how kids 6 and up to adult (when does one really become an adult?) would like the game but all 8 of us adults (ages 50 and over) enjoyed it. It was simple to hear the basic rules and get started. We didn't exactly follow the scoring rules and we didn't play to the "end". But after playing 3 rounds we have decided to purchase this game. Everyone enjoyed the game.

Mexican Train Domino Train Markers (Set of 10, Assorted) Review

Mexican Train Domino Train Markers (Set of 10, Assorted)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The 10 trains I received did not seem to be a set. Three of them were made of a clearer plastic, and one of those was a brownish tint with glitter. Of the seven solid trains I received that look like the trains in the picture above, three were a shade of blue, and two were a shade of pink. I assumed there would be more variety and the trains would all at least be made of the same type of plastic. I had planned to give them as a gift and was unable to because of these inconsistencies.

Cardinal Industries Mexican Train Domino Game in an Aluminum Case Review

Cardinal Industries Mexican Train Domino Game in an Aluminum Case
Average Reviews:

A little disapointed, the original Mexican train set in the aluminum case had the nice 3/8" thick dominoes that stood on edge well (important part of playing the game) this one has everything else the same but comes with the thin 1/4" dominoes that can fall over easy. My fault for not asking and assuming it was original(there was no size spec. in the add) but still a little ??? on there part.
