So I have to say I was rather disgusted with the whole mess. The holes are not big enough in the dino's feet to get them onto the pegs inside the train cars. (We used a knife to carve them slightly larger, lots of fun..) And whoever decided where to place pegs within the cars themselves never considered that maybe we would want to put different sized dino's in the cars. Not all of them will even fit because of peg placement and the size of their tails..etc. I also bought the motorized engine set. I assumed incorrectly that the engine light would glow. I was wrong. And the engine is not strong enough to really pull even the few cars that the set comes with, so please do not think for a second that you will be able to add any of the other cars and it pull it on the track. It simply will not happen. The track is nice. My three year old was able to successfully build the track and connect the pieces which was good and the train station was made of a sturdy plastic that connected to the track. But the nest and the time tunnel where made of CARD BOARD. It was laughable and pathetic. My husband and I spent two days having to stand them back up or put them back together before we just took them away from our son. It was frustrating. After a few days he would not even play with it just because it was so much work. Only some of the dinosaurs will even stand up on their own. They are either top heavy and fall over or on the four legged dino's they raised one of the legs so even those constantly fall over. The plastic is nice but instead of putting their names on the back, they stamped numbers. I rolled my eyes and have to refer to the back of one of the packages to get all the names of the less familiar ones. For what I paid I would have thought learning curve would have come out with a better product. I am hoping for some expansion items like the big pond or a nicer nest. Maybe it will get my son excited again and I will not have wasted around a 100.00.
