When I saw the Buddy and Tiny stuffed animals online I knew my kids would love them; however, I was hesitant to buy them because they appeared to have their details painted on and are of course made in China. I am one of those parents who tries to avoid made in China toys with paint on them (especially something my children would be cuddling and sleeping with) for the obvious lead and cadmium issues. But I went ahead and ordered them anyway because they really do love dinosaurs and the show. Well I'm glad I did because the toys do not have paint on them. The details are actually part of the material and the eyes are stitched. The quality and detail of these stuffed animals surprised me, they really look like the TV characters! My children haven't stopped playing with them and they've had them for about a month. They love to act out scenes from the show and are repeating all the information they've learned, that's why I gave this stuffed animal 4 stars for education - most stuffed animals I wouldn't count as educational.
