In general, pillow pets are a great idea for any child whom you do not want to clutter their bedroom with stuffed animals. They can play with them like any stuffed animal. At the end of the day, the child can go to sleep on top of it. It is machine washable but the fabric will start to degrade after many washes.
Specifically, the T-Rex looks a bit more like an armadillo than a T-Rex. Finally, there is not much, if any, educational value to this toy.
