(More customer reviews)I Love Dragons, and am a big collector of Dragons, Toys, Etc. When This movie came out, as assumed i fell in love. After 2 months of waiting around for these Series 3 dragons i finally had to put my optimism away and finally cave to purchasing the series 3 dragons online. I was tired of waiting, and having to drive to walmart on almost a daily basis to check... and not just one walmart a few. Although i supposed as my theory goes that when i finally get the rest of the series 3 in a few days, in the mail , all of a sudden the walmarts by me will have them in stock. Anyways i was very excited to recieve my two night fury's in the mail.
So about the action dragon; this is obviously a third version of toothless, what is diffrent is that his mouth is closed with no teeth baring as you see on the other versions, his teeth do bare when you have him shoot fire out. Another feature that is diffrent is now we have the red tail sail in the back which is what we saw at the end of the movie. So across the versions its went from normal to the brown, and finally the red.
As for his wings they do the dive bomb action, like series one, but more or less you manually do it, unless you have him pointing up towards the sky that is the only way he will do it on his own. AND BTW speaking of wings, other reviews that i have read on any dragons in this collection is it seems a lot of people have a hard time with the wings. I however have not, so everyone should make sure that you are actually snapping them in all the way, it takes alittle strength to do but nobody should be having this problem, some of the dragons its alittle difficult bc of the little arms that may be in the way or the fact that you have to use alittle strength to get the wings in but after that they should never fall off, none of mine have.
as for detail its excellent detail just like all the other dragons in the collection.
articulation is in the front legs which is forward and back , mouth moves when back legs are squeezed together and wings swivel.
the fireball toothless shoots looks cool, although i dont think he shoots as far as the gronkles fireball he throws, at least it seems like but who cares its tooghless haha
This is def. a must have for any collector of this movie or even dragon collector for that matter, i would suggest getting these asap seeing as its getting closer to the holidays and this along with the other dragons will most likely be hot items, which then means it will become difficult to obtain.
