(More customer reviews)We bought this for our son's Easter basket and to round-off his ever-growing collection of Thomas trains. It is sized just like the wooden trains so that it fits on the tracks and Sir Topham bounces up and down when the car rolls along. However, if the surface is very smooth, such as a tile countertop or glossy table, then the wheels just glide instead of turning and Sir Topham does not bounce. Perhaps some rubber or other tread on the wheels would have insured that they would turn on more surfaces. Other than that, it's a great addition to our Thomas train set!
