(More customer reviews)We love thomas stuff. My son is 23 months. We have Early Engineers, regular wooden railway stuff, and Take N Play sets as well. The regular wooden railway things are my absolute favorite, but the early engineers have their perks too.. easier for littler guys in the fact that your tracks arent coming apart all the time.
This item has wonderful durability and is super cute. I have no complaints!

Things to know if you are planning on buying a lot of thomas stuff in the future?
I would skip buying all the early engineer stuff. Its great it really is, but I wish I had bought stuff for his wooden train table setup instead. Now that we are buying peices for it.. and it is EXPENSIVE... I am realizing unfortunately that they did not make it compatible with Early Engineers wooden trains. They fit on the track allright, but they don't fit under the bridges and overpasses on Morgans Mine or the ascending track peices. These Early Engineer trains are too fat and tall. So you will have to buy the regular Thomas for the wooden railway to fully utilize your nice wooden peices. So theres another like 12-20 bucks : )
