It's an alligator on wheels, with a long handle (you can't see it in the picture). Your child can pull it around the house or use the blocks in multiple ways. There are 6 blocks that fit onto various parts of the alligator's body. They are also designed to stack. The mouth opens, so your toddler can "feed" the alligator. The back of the alligator opens up so your child can put the blocks in and out. Lots of uses! Our son (who is now 16 months) loves it, and uses it daily. I'd recommend this for 12-24 months. The eyes also spin and there is music that plays when you open the mouth, which can be turned off.
