(More customer reviews)We got this train to go around my mom's christmas tree. She had a set just like it that was about 20 years old that finally bit the dust (perhaps thanks to my 2.5 year old son). This new train set looks almost identical to the old one, but is clearly more cheaply made. The plastic is not as thick, the track is flimsier. I dont expect it to go 20 years like the one before it. The price was right on this one, but we will probably have to replace it in a year or two, especially with more grandkids on the way.
If your kids are the type to look but not touch (haha, yeah right!), go for it.
