When it's built it looks as pictured, and makes a fair addition to my HO train set.
However...
This is supposed to be a "Snap Kit". Actually, the walls have to be glued at the corners and the roof has to be glued along the peak (The chimney is not enough of an anchor to hold the roof together). Without glue in those locations, the house just falls apart. I used a cyano "hot glue" to do the job, though I imagine that regular plastic model glue would work too.
The windows snapped in OK but the doors were too tight. I had to snap those in the opposite way they were designed to, and only after a lot of careful maneuvering to keep from damaging the tops and bottoms of the door frames. If I build another one of these houses I'll just trim off the door tabs and glue those as well.
The awnings fit loosely as designed, so that you can take them on and off the windows. They were fine.
Finally, there is supposed to be a small figure included. There was none.
It looks all right; it just doesn't fit together the way it's supposed to.
