(More customer reviews)Melissa and Doug puzzles are the best for young children. They are sturdy and the pieces are large and easy for a young toddler to handle. The colors are bright and the images appealing to a child. The two year old in my life loves then and we have been using these puzzles since he was 14 months old, as he has gotten older we have bought the more challenging ones.
Some of them have large knobs for small hands to grasp, others are thick pieces that make it easier for a child to put the piece in place, also the car and truck pieces can be used to play with.
