(More customer reviews)This little N scale train would be perfect for a youngster to begin a model railroad. I'm 75 years old and have a N scale model railroad. A model of the P42 is too expensive for my budget, but I thought I'd order this and see if it is a realistic item. I had not seen New Ray trains before so I did not know what to expect. Well, I am really pleased with this. The engines and cars are well made and the detailing is better that I expected. If I don't use it as a plaything, I can use it on a siding on my model railroad. Inexpensive way to get two P42s! I'll probably buy another New Ray set with a different locomotive.
