(More customer reviews)I have purchased a few of these sets for my friend's kids. The operating log cars are fun; you can push a button and the train will dump the logs out. I built a small layout with a mountian and some additional scenery. The kit comes with an engine, three identical log cars and a caboose. The engine smokes, has a bell, and it even has directional lighting. My friend's son really likes to run the train at full speed and so far it has held up well. This set can be used as a great educational tool to teach about logging, steam power, and history.
