(More customer reviews)We purchased this for my daughter's 4th birthday and are very happy with it. This dress seems to be much better made than the more popular princess dresses available and even comes with the crown and sceptor. The crown and sceptor do not have jewels glued into them, but rather are painted in spots so it looks like there are jewels so you don't have to worry about them falling out and losing them or a younger one finding it and putting it in the mouth. They are very sturdy plastic and not very flimsy at all. Also, the dress itself is very soft and not scratchy. My daughter already wears a size 5 and the sizing is good as there seems to be room for growth and putting it on over other clothes right now. She has not been too into the princess stuff, but she absolutely loves this set! I have always been very happy with the quality of Melissa & Doug toys and this one is no exception!
