(More customer reviews)The mere thought of a penguin on wheels had me excited! However, even at a greatly discounted price, I was disappointed with this toy. The age range is 18 months and older. I have it to a 19 month old as a gift. I was HUGELY disappointed. It does nothing. Sure, the animals go down the ramp - sometimes. That is about it. I'd rather use a single piece of Matchbox track and create my ramp. At least then, nothing could fall apart during use.
The only reason I gave the toy two stars was for the two animals. They are cute, well contructed and if used on their own, they are great! As for the playset itself, it does not serve the purpose for which it was made. I am glad I didn't buy the other sets to go with it.
