You can program up to 20 different paths that rocket can do in concession, by going left, right, zig zag, figure 8, straight, just by pushing the large buttons several times. You need a lot of floor space for this, as it it is traveling all over the floor. It will stop the commands if it runs into something or if picked up.
You can take off the wheels, and put dune buggy wheels on, also the helicopter piece on the top comes up to put it into rocket mode. My daughter has played with this a lot. For an adult the noise level on it is kind of loud, and can get a bit annoying. The only feature my daughter keeps asking for on it, is when is it going to fly in the air?
Overall it has been one of her favorites, and it is pretty durable.
