(More customer reviews)My train loving 4 year old son has TONS of the cheaper and more simple "Take Along Thomas" which he went back to even after playing with this new motorized set. It could be that this particular trackmaster set is a little monotonous (it just goes around and around) but even after adding and extra set of curved and straight tracks with some elevation and bridges, he still went back to his old "Take Along Thomas." The "Take Along" sets actually lend themselves for a more "hands on" approach and my son definitely gets more creative with with "Take Along" as opposed to the motorized trackmaster. We will definitely NOT invest any more money in the trackmaster sets.
