(More customer reviews)I've had this train car since 1975, and it's as good as new, despite a lot of use all of these years. The middle of the car features a sliding door. The weight is evenly distributed, which makes it suitable around curves. My car was built in the U.S.A. (Chesterfield, MI), but in the decades to follow, these cars are now made in China. I've purchased new cars in the past 6 years, and don't see any compromise in quality. I have 2 searchlight cars: one made in the U.S.A., and one made in China. Boy, have times changed. Overall, I love this car. Every train set should feature this type of car.
