(More customer reviews)The Early Engineer trains fit on the standard wooden rail, but can't fit under overpasses or through the big bridge. That has frustrated my son so much that he doesn't use this James anymore. It is well made, but the difference in size is a problem. He has had the regular wooden trains since just before he was two and never had any trouble with them. I wouldn't bother with this Early Engineer series.
