We have had it for almost a year now, and my four-year-old still likes to run trains and cars in the "track" down the sides of the bed. Important note: I did not read carefully, but you MUST buy and cut a piece of plywood or the mattress will fall through the bed to the floor. (It says that in the description, but I missed it.) Thank goodness my husband was home from Iraq at the time to take care of this pretty important detail! A very durable bed. I can get into the bed myself to snuggle my son at night. After a year, it is still holding up very well!
