As with all the wooden Thomas toys, I found it a bit pricey, but my son plays with it so much more two other items with good reviews, Cranky Crane and the Water Tower. We've had it about 2 months, and the lever that turns the windmill gets a lot of use/abuse and has held up well. My son likes to put the barrels (as well as other items including small rocks and raisins!) that come with the cargo train through their chute at at the back of the windmill to load the train. We're very happy with this purchase.
