This is one of the latest offerings in the Bachmann Big Hauler line which has been producing great value trains since it was introduced in the 1980s. It is made to run in the garden, but will create a "jaw-dropping" effect around your Christmas tree as well. You should probably also know that Bachmann Trains offers world-class warranties and service on all of its products. Unfortunately Bachmann track doesn't work outside, so if you actually do put this train in your garden, consider AristoCraft track as an "add-on." You'll want a bigger track circle anyway, to give this big train "room to stretch out."

Beginning construction in the mountains of post?Civil War Tennessee, the East Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad Company was known locally as the Eat Taters and Wear No Clothes railroad. Narrow gauge operations began in 1881, and after nearly 60 years of operation, developing interstate highway systems and the torrential rains of 1940 worked to bring about the railroad?s demise. Following a series of purchases and acquisitions (singing cowboy Gene Autry once owned an ET & WNC locomotive), the railroad was resurrected in 1956, going on to become one of North Carolina?s favorite travel attractions. NOTE: This set is NOT recommended for outdoor use.
