They're still a little advanced for my 2.5-yr old, although she loves to use the wrench and the screwdriver to work on them, and pulls them off of her shelf often. I like the way they're made - it's a simple toy, without much room for error. Some of the screws fit a little too snugly into some of the holes, but I'm sure a tiny bit of soap on the threads will fix this (and it's really not that bad - fine for an adult, maybe too tight for a kiddo's fingers). The colors make it easy to distinguish between the differently sized pieces. A keeper!
