I started with this kit to learn about their realistic water and water effects and started with a small brook. Now I am using those same products to model the ocean and a full multi-panel port for wargaming. The ocean runs into an 8" wide river as part of the port, and I have made waves, waterfalls, rapids, swirls, and whirls with the products and skills from this set (No, this set does not give one enough water to model an ocean; you need to buy more bottles of Realistic Water and Water Effects to do that. But you CAN learn the skills here).
