(More customer reviews)The horse stable arrived completely assembled, with working interior light. It is very detailed! The stable itself is painted, however almost all of the small items pictured around it (anvil, wagon wheel, shovel, ladder, etc) are left white, and must be painted in place (no big deal). Figurines are prepainted, and are left to you to attach. Was ready to place on my HO board an hour after I received it. Grandchildren love it, but it isn't constructed to be played with by little fingers. All in all, a great purchase.
