(More customer reviews)I am very pleased to give this toy 5 stars. We have this engine, some letters, and several other sets. We got them to replace the plastic Brio trains we had before. These don't have the same detailing as the Brio and Thomas trains, but I really like the old fashioned look and simplicity. An older child might like more "bells and whistles" but I think this system is perfect for toddlers and younger preschoolers like my son. They work perfectly with the Brio wooden tracks and accessories we decided to keep.
Besides aesthetics and function, the other thing I really like about NameTrain is that they are made in Vermont from local materials, using non toxic finishes. It's refreshing to buy something beautiful, safe, and from close to home!
