(More customer reviews)If you have a Lionel train set that came with the basic loop of Fastrack, then this is a nice way to expand. Fastrack is expensive, but make sure that you do not pay more than twenty dollars for the 4 pack of straight track. I have seen this offered at times for a lot more than the list price. We started with the basic loop and expanded over time by adding a few switches and by making a siding. You can buy various lengths of Fastrack, but I think that the 10 inch sections have the lowest price per inch. The 5 inch track costs about the same as the 10 inch track. To see all of the fastrack available go to the Lionel dot com web site where you can view their catalog on line. If you have traditional Lionel O gauge track, you can buy adapters to connect traditional track with fastrack.
