It doesn't say anywhere that it is ENCLOSED in a plastic case and those are the dimensions of the CASE not the car. The item costs $4.98 (reasonable), the shipping costs $5.97 (unreasonable), total cost $10.97 I would "pass" on this had I known the actual size which is 1:87"
