(More customer reviews)It seems as if the toy manufacturers forget that most trains we see today are diesels and only make steam engines. This is the only one I've seen from Brio and it is just wonderful. My little one loves how it lights up and makes that wonderful diesel "trumpet" horn sound as it chugs along the track. He puts it on the back of a battery-operated train so he can hear the diesel horn all through the town he's made. Plus, he has to have more than one engine so he says to pull his big trains! We also have the steam engine like this diesel and love it just as much. Grab all of these - you certainly won't be disappointed. The sounds are very realistic and make for more accurate and realistic play, more so that the Thomas series.
