(More customer reviews)i bought these while in Germany a few years ago, and they are a great toy. My son made lots of different creations from the pieces and has had many uses for all the parts. I have two sets and am very happy. The books are easy to follow, the models actually roll or move as shown. I don't know why they aren't more popular here, but if your kids like kinex or legos, then these will be a hit.
The pieces are all wood or plastic, even the tools. I recommend a container to store, as it's easy to loose the washers, but other than that, they are great.
