(More customer reviews)Bachmann has been building the Spectrum line of HO scale model trains for the past several years. I have bought several models of both steam and diesel and they have all been quality products. Robust enough for a child but with enough realistic detail to satisfy an adult.
This particular model meets those criteria, and with the DCC chip on board it functions not only with the inexpensive DC controllers but also with the high end DCC (Computer) controllers popular today.
I purchased this here on Amazon and it was delivered promptly and in good condition by the seller known as "Best Services Stores" they had the absolute lowest price on this piece out of all the stores on Amazon as well as any where else I looked on line.
I attempted to leave feedback for them however I was unable to find the leave Seller Feedback tab to do so...Seems the Amazon development team could use some pointers in interface design from the folks over at e-bay :)
So I give the Bachmann GE 70ton Diesel locomotive a 9 out of 10.
