The price is right but it's really not as sturdy as the Thomas version, which is more pricey. It works okay and will the job, but it has a tendency to come apart rather quickly - to the point where my husband duct-taped it to the board. It isn't as realistic looking either - it just looks like it's made of plastic. Again, it does the job but if you're really a train buff or are buying it for one, you might want to look at the Thomas version.
