The Third Avenue Railway System was a vast transportation network of streetcar lines that ran through Manhattan, the Bronx and up into Westchester and Yonkers
Unfortuely, political pressures as well as motor coach and automotive industries and the tire and oil industries did the system as with so many other streetcar systems across the country. but at least modelers like myself can preserve and own a bit of that rich history by having high quality models such as this car here. It runs smoothly and the the detail is accurate and well done. A great piece of equipment both in operation and as a model
