(More customer reviews)This model's stongest point is its price, very cheap compared to some others on Amazon and elsewhere. Its an Athearn model; I have always appriciated their products for the balance of price, detail, and performance. This praticuar engine has an ok amount of body detail, and the paint looks good at a distance but has a few imperfections. However it is a very good puller, pulls just as well if not better than my Athearn SD50 which cost 3 times as much. Also the body shell has no small, easily broken parts to loose, so the model stands up well to repeated handling. Overall I would recomend this engine to anyone looking for a cheap engine of fairly good quality.
